Mark earned his private pilot license on his seventeenth birthday. After returning to Alaska after four years in the Marines Mark worked for the local Cessna Aircraft dealer at Lake Hood. After three years employment with the company, Mark purchased the business and operated it successfully for the following twelve years The company was AvAlaska, Inc. and it featured an aircraft sales department, service and parts departments, and after 1997 a flight school as well.
In 2004 Mark sold the company to one of his friendly competitors and moved to the Mat-Su Valley. Today, Mark is a consistent top performing agent with Dynamic Properties in Wasilla.
